Through public outreach we raise awarenessof Al-Anon as a trusted resource for those struggling with someone else’s drinking and that there is hope.
Learn More About Outreach
- Contact your District Representative or District Outreach Coordinator to learn more about Outreach in your District. If you don’t have either, please contact outreach@wa-al-anon.org.
- Attend our Area’s monthly Outreach Conversation led by our WA Area Outreach Coordinator. On the 4th Sunday of the month members gather online conversation to share their Outreach questions, experience and ideas.
- Visit the Outreach section of the al-anon.org website for more information and available tools.
- Read the Al-Anon Guidelines on the topic of Outreach including G-9, G-10, G-14, G-29 and G-38.
Borrow Our Area Outreach Banners
WA Area has 5 freestanding, retractable banners for Groups and Districts use. By using any 3 together, you have the backdrop for a standard 8′ booth at an event, fair, or professional gathering. You can specify which banners you want to borrow on the request to use form. They are easy to transport and set up.

Outreach Business Cards
Outreach Calling Cards are easy to give to someone who wants to find out more about Al-Anon. They have a scannable QR code and text that points to our Washington Area website, and text for the worldwide site al-anon.org. Carry a few with you to hand to someone after a conversation, or request a bunch to leave with other outreach materials. One side is in English, the other side is Spanish.
